Sorrento Ristorante opened in Toronto in 2009, and that same year was named one of “Toronto’s Best”, by toronto.com. Every year we strive to make our clients experience Italian dining beyond the usual . In 2014 we were awarded with “Ospitalita’ Italiana” from the Italian Chamber of Commerce, which selects restaurants around the world that maintain the authentic Italian cuisine, products and hospitality.

Ospitalità Italiana in Ontario Award, Marchio Ospitalità Italiana 2014. On November 13th 2014, at the Sony centre, we were awarded by Ospitalità Italiana. The Marchio Ospitalità Italiana is a certification awarded by the Union of the Italian Chambers of Commerce with the patronage of the Italian Government. Marchio Ospitalità recognizes the restaurants in Italy and around the world which operate consistently within the traditions of Italian food and wine culture. The criteria for the evaluation of Italian restaurants abroad are upheld through specific and strict requirements, such as the proper use and application of the Italian language, use of Italian olive oil, presence of Italian wines and D.O.P products from Italy as well as the relevant experience of the chef with Italian cuisine.
